Every child has ideas worth believing in.
Art is where kids discover what they're capable of.
It’s more than art.
This is where kids learn to trust themselves.
Embrace
challenges.
Solve their own
problems.
And persist until they’re proud of the work.
Most art classes end when everyone finishes the same project.
Ours ends when each child has created something they love.
Because pride isn't found in following directions.
It's built through choice, persistence, revision, and discovering what you're capable of.
My goal isn't just to teach kids how to draw.
Why I Teach
It’s to help them become independent thinkers.
The creative process teaches children how to think for themselves and discover that mistakes are part of learning.
The painting is the evidence of the learning.
Your Ideas Matter
Every Lesson Begins with Choice
I help kids learn to trust their ideas, make thoughtful decisions, and create work that reflects who they are.
Every painting becomes an opportunity to think independently, embrace mistakes, and discover what they're capable of.
What Families Are Saying

I used to think art class was about copying projects, but with Mrs. Lan, I looked forward to class because I got to use my imagination and bring my own ideas to life.

Ms. Lan created a supportive space where my daughter could strengthen her artistic skills, express herself freely, and build confidence.

To me, art once felt unapproachable—like there was a right and wrong way to do it. But with Mrs. Lan, I now see that art holds infinite possibilities.
